Christmas in July!

Yes, I'm thinking about Christmas already!!! I'm determined to be ready this year. Yer I say this every year, but I mean it this time!!!! The last time I was at Hobby Lobby it jammed packed with Christmas stuff, so that was my cue! I picked up some really cute things, not to mention last year I got a ton of stuff in their after Christmas Sale. This little door-hanger was one of the after Christmas deals! I have a thing for snowmen and this was just begging for me to bring it home! Of course I changed the snowman into a "snow-gal" with matching coat, hat, scarf and purse!!! All the papers and most of the embellies are by One Heart One Mind. Hopefully I'll be posting a couple more Christmas projects in the next month or so!

My first assignment for Eyelets Etc. will be on the -Lets Blog on Friday, so if you get a chance please come check us out.

4 U Girlie!!!

I brought this box from Michaels recently. My original thinking was, that it would make a great mini album, but I needed a small gift box and it just happened to be just the right size.

I changed the original "flip flop" into a "slide" so you could see the text on the inside of the shoe and it was a lot easier to add the eyelets that way. The yellow center of the green flower is a cute little flower eyelet with a brad threaded through the center.

The -Lets blog challenge this month was to create anything with eyelets, so I managed to "kill two birds with on stone" as they say.
There's still a couple more weeks to play along. Join us over at -Lets blog and show us what YOU can do with eyelets......Can't wait to see what you come up with.
