The Merry Christmas Nutcracker

Here is my first project for the Helmar USA team and my last Christmas project for a while. I love how it turned out - Even if I do say so myself!!! I had help though, the Pink Paislee patterned paper really gave me the inspiration, as soon as I saw it I knew I saw a beard in there!!! If you go to the Helmar USA blog I have a few tips on how to create one of your own, as well as the supply list.

Quickie Post!

Just wanted to post these ornaments that I did for the "Winter Wonderland" ornament swap hosted by Say It With Letters. I'm pretty sure everyone has received them by now! The houses were purchased from Hobby Lobby and all patterned paper is Basic Grey. Hope the recipients enjoyed them as much as I did mine. Thanks ladies.

Also if you haven't had a chance to check out the Helmar blog and our 12 Days Of Christmas, check it out!!! There are some really cute Christmas ideas on there. I'll give you a "sneek peek" of my project later this week. Got to go and get a little shopping done - See ya soon!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Does this look familiar!!! I finally altered this little guy using the kit that Tamara and Linda from Mothers and Daughters Creations sent me for my guest design spot this week. The patterned papers are so fun, that I thought they would fit this project perfectly.
The challenge for this week is to create something inspired by your favorite Christmas Carol or song.

Supplies used:
Patterned paper - Daisy Bucket
Chipboard bird - Scenic Route
Ribbon - May Arts
(All supplied by Mothers and Daughters Creations)

Chipboard letters - Cherry Arte
Letter stickers - Making Memories
Other - Wood cut-out, glitter, beads and pom-pom from Hobby Lobby
