Gearly Loved!

Hi all! Today I'm sharing some sneaks of the kids gift to their dad for Father Day. It's an art board that I altered for his office. Of course, it's full of Maya Road goodness. To see more details click here.

Maya Road and Tombow USA Team Up!

Hi everyone!! Maya Road has teamed up with Tombow USA, to do a product exchange. The MR design team's assignment was to create a name tag. Here you can see the rest of the teams adorable creations. I decided to make a cuckoo clock, because that just how I feel sometimes .....CUCKOO!!! :)

The base of the cuckoo clock was created out of a half circle album page, a scalloped border for the roof and part of a scroll frame, as you can see below.

For most of this project I used the Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue, to adhere the paper to the chipboard and adhere the chipboard pieces together.

The brads in the center of the clock had the prongs removed first and then I used Tombow Metal Liquid Glue to adhere them. I love that the glue bottles have a pen tip and broad tip dispenser. Applying the beads and tiny leaves were "a breeze" using the pen tip end.

The Tombow Dual Brush Pen was used to color the scalloped border, the flower in the center of the clock and the scrolled frame at the bottom of the clock. The photo was adhered with Tombow Mono Dot Adhesive.

Before I go I just want to say "Congratulations" to my eldest son, who is graduating from high school today. He is an amazing boy, who has made me very proud. I know wonderful things are in his future. I'm excited for him and nervous for him all at the same time. You see, even though he was offered a full scholarship to collage, he made the decision to enlisted in the US Marine Corps.
It doesn't matter how old you are, you'll always be my sweet, baby boy! Love you, D!
