Melissa Frances

Hi everyone, I'm really excited and honored to be the guest designer for Melissa Frances this month. I received an awesome package of Melissa Frances supplies back in April and had a great time playing with all of the yummy goodies! It's really hard for me to make projects and not share them right away, because the more they sit, the more I end up changing them. (lol) But, no chance of that on this project. My little girl has it on her dresser in her room and she's not letting me get it back!

This is mini storage chest I altered, for all of her little doll "knick knacks." I kept it fairly simple, just in case I need to do any repairs!!!

The patterned papers and 3D stickers used on this project are from the French Twist collection. The neutral colored patterned paper in the front is from the Antique Treasures collection.

The rub-ons, glittered heart and pearl embellishments are also by Melissa Frances. To keep the rub-ons in place on the glittered chipboard, I brushed Helmar's Acrylic Sealer on top and I also used the sealer on the pearls, just to make sure they stay put.

My next project is a layout of Jaiden when she was a few days old. Again, I used patterned papers from the French Twist and Attic Treasures collections.

The hidden journaling reads:
"Dreams are like the paints of a great artist. Your dreams are your paints, the world is your canvas. Believing, is the brush that converts your dreams into a masterpiece of reality"

The pearls under the "DREAM" rub-on were colored with Prismacolor markers to match the rest of the layout.

Thanks for visiting!

Jen:)
