Hello again! Today I have a mini album to share with you. I still need to add a few more pages, but I really wanted to show you the altered cover. I jazzed up this half circle album a by adding various other chipboard shapes to create an owl.
ANOTHER OWL!!!.... (I hear you screaming) I know, I can't help myself! My name is Jennifer and I 'm an OWL-A-HOLIC!!! :)
ANOTHER OWL!!!.... (I hear you screaming) I know, I can't help myself! My name is Jennifer and I 'm an OWL-A-HOLIC!!! :)
As you can see, I used one of my favorite new Pink Paislee lines, Cupid to create this. I also had a lot of fun with the Shimmerz paints too. The above close up shows how I used some Blingz on some of the blue feathers. I also used Shimmerz Spritz on the eyes, wings and eyebrows.
The shimmery effect is a little hard to see in my picture above, so here is a close up of one of the eyes after I sprayed it with the Bamboo Leaf and Truffle spritz.
After I inked the eyebrows with brown liquid chalk, I sprayed them with the Bamboo Leaf spritz. I love the mottled effect that the spritz produced, a perfect texture for the owl.
Here are some of the pages I have done so far.
Supplies used:
Pink Paislee - Patterned paper, Brads, Border Stickers, Patches, Punchouts, Glitter Alphabets and Letter stickers from the Cupid line.
Shimmerz - Shimmerz Spritz (Bamboo Leaf, Truffle) and Blingz (Pixie Dust)
Maya Road - Album, chipboard wings, circles, petals and tree.
Kaiser Craft - Pearls
Berry Garland - Hobby Lobby
