Hello again and welcome to the Samantha Walker blog hop! If you just left Julie's blog then you're on the right track, if not you can start the hop here on Samantha's blog. Just leave a comment on this and all the other blogs along the way, for your chance to win a prize package of patterned papers and stickers from Samantha
Walker's Cowboy Collection.
Okay, so I'm still enjoying playing with fabrics and thought Samantha's Enchanted Garden collection by Riley Blake, would be perfect for a Spring project. The pattern I used for the bunny had a more primitive feel but since Samantha's fabrics are more contemporary I wanted to keep the bunny that way too. So instead of torn edges on the bottom of the pants and dress I finished the hems with pleated and gingham ribbons.
Thanks so much for visiting! Next up is the talented Nancy Doren, you can click the logo below to hop to her blog.
Fabrics used:
Samantha Walker's Enchanted Garden Collection for Riley Blake:
White Enchanted Garden Polka Dots
Other Supplies:
Pattern - Threadbare Primitives (Bunny Love by Susan Dean)
Maya Road - Pleated satin ribbons and felt flowers
Muslin, embroidery floss, buttons and gingham ribbon from Hobby Lobby
Plaid - Mod Podge (matte)

I do not sew a lick...but just looking at some of your projects is an inspirational jumping off point that I never know exactly where it may lead. I am an avid paper crafter that is currently living vicariously thru the wonderful world of technological advances -(blog hopping and gallery crawling on the internet) while attempting to raise 4 children and unpack and get settled from a move. I just wanted you to know how grateful I am to those that unknowingly encourage those of us out here that need the artistic uplifting to breathe!!!
