Happy Halloween

Hi All! I know it's been a while since my last post, but today I'm back (just in time, I might add) to share this fun Halloween project with you.

This project was made with patterned papers from an older Halloween collection by Pink Paislee, called Twilight. It's still one of my favorites, so I decided to use it on a little monster I purchased from Hobby Lobby last year. I covered the whole thing with the white patterned paper first, then added strips of paper around her to give her a "mummy" effect.

For the base of the project I used a 5" round wood plaque. The top surface and sides were covered with paper. Then I applied a skull border along the beveled edge of the plaque. 4 wheels were added to the base using some dowels. I decorated the wheels with some wood buttons and a little zipper trim. To finish off the base I added a few altered star trinket pins.

The stamped banner along the top of the piece, was attached to some dowels using some thin wire and mini clothes pins.

Have a safe and happy Halloween, guys!!! :)
