It's me!

Hello again, I know it's been a while. But I've been trying to catch up on some cleaning and other chores around the house, that have been neglected lately. I told my husband I need a maid to keep things on track. That way, I can play with patterned paper and embellishments all day. I don't think he was amused!!! Oh well, I can dream......

I have some pretty cool news to share. I have been asked to be a guest designer for Shimmerz, this September and October. I'm really thrilled! If you haven't had a chance to check out these shimmery paints, have a look here. You'll love the vibrant, rich colors!!! Also check out the design team blog for some really inspiring projects.

So anyway, after receiving my DT package I couldn't wait till next month to try them out. I have one project to share today and I'll share the other one tomorrow.

This is my Pink Paislee project for my blog post today - Thursday's Trends. The project features the new Twilight collection, that has starting shipping to stores already!!!! To see the entire post go here.

For this project I used the Bamboo Leaf, Shimmerz Spritz. Below you can see the front of the boot after it was sprayed with the Shimmerz. When the the rest of the boot is covered with patterned paper and chipboard, the paint adds a lot of contrast and interest to the project.

Here you can see boot heel. The Spritz gives it a really pretty greenish, gold shimmer.

The fabric patch seen here on the cuff of the boot, was also sprayed with the same Shimmerz Spritz, to color match with the sheer ribbon.

I'll see you soon,

Thanks for sharing your amazing talent. I am always stunned by your latest blog entry. Would you ever consider an online tutorial or a list of favorite adhesives, etc. It would be much appreciated
