4 U Girlie!!!

I brought this box from Michaels recently. My original thinking was, that it would make a great mini album, but I needed a small gift box and it just happened to be just the right size.

I changed the original "flip flop" into a "slide" so you could see the text on the inside of the shoe and it was a lot easier to add the eyelets that way. The yellow center of the green flower is a cute little flower eyelet with a brad threaded through the center.

The -Lets blog challenge this month was to create anything with eyelets, so I managed to "kill two birds with on stone" as they say.
There's still a couple more weeks to play along. Join us over at -Lets blog and show us what YOU can do with eyelets......Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Supplies used:
  • Eyelets - Eyelets Etc. (Lg flower eyelet and small eyelets) and Provo Craft (Lg eyelets)
  • Patterned papers and letter stickers - KI Memories
  • Felt flowers - Making Memories and American Crafts
  • Paper flowers - Making Memories and Prima
  • Bling - Glitz Design
  • Silhouette letters - Heidi Swapp
  • Push pin - Fancy Pants
  • Tag - Rusty Pickle
  • Tiny letter stickers - K and Company
  • Other - ribbon, embroidery floss and beads
