Delightful Baby!

I'm so excited to be the guest designer for Creative Cuts & More this Month. I've had a lot of fun creating all kinds of projects using die cuts. My first project is a gift box that can be used as a keepsakes box after the gift has been opened. Aren't these shoes the cutest? I knew I had to play with these die-cuts as soon as I saw them!!!

I covered the die-cuts on one side with a pink patterned paper and then stitched around the edges to make the shoes more realistic. I added a large brad for the shoe fasteners and chipboard leaves and felt flowers to decorate the front of the shoes. Then felt rick-rack was added to the bottom of the shoes as a sole.

Here is the completed box, ready for gift giving!

Supplies used:
Creative Cuts and More - Die cut baby shoes.
Pink Paislee - Patterned paper, letter stickers, rubons, chipboard and brads.
Bazzil - Tulle ribbon
Maya Road - Felt flowers
Kaiser Crafts - Pearls (green)
Glitz Design - Pearls (pink)
Hobby Lobby - Paper mache box and embroidery floss
